How We Give Back
Agency 8 donates a proceed of our profits to Easter Seals to help children with disabilities, The Bridge to help families of sexual and domestic violence, Unbound to help end human trafficking and the Foodbank. We host the Houston PJ day around the holidays to give new warm PJs to Houston area struggling families. The Agency 8 team volunteers at local colleges every year for resume and interview training to graduating senior students. Rebecca serves at the District Director of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) to lobby at the US and Texas Capital on important issues to the HR Leaders of Texas.

Rebecca Nutt, CEO
Rebecca Nutt is a loving mom, a driven entrepreneur, and a passionate business owner who believes in giving back to the community and treating others like you want to be treated.
Rebecca started Agency 8 Recruiting in 2008. She had a successful career working for a well-known recruiting company and had a guaranteed upward career growth trajectory; however, one of her beloved children requires special-needs assistance for her day to day life. It became apparent that continuing her career path had become near impossible to maintain given her responsibilities as a mother of a special needs child.
After long reflection and deliberation, Rebecca felt like this was an opportunity to start her own recruiting firm to improve the areas where she felt clients were being neglected. Providing exact candidate matching by implementing more in-depth skillset and behavioral screening and vetting. Wanting to assure less turn over because candidates are a fit for both the role and the culture.
She holds her Human Resources PHR and SHRM-CP licenses and has a degree in Computer Information Systems. She combined her background in HR, IT, and Recruiting Management to establish the 8-step recruiting method to yield the highest success rates that surpass the competition.
